Time is a human construct that was designed supposedly by the Egyptians as a measurement to sequence events, compare the duration of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify rates of change of quantities in material reality or in the conscious experience. Early men used the sun to mark the time of day and Christiaan Huygens designed the instrument of “time,” the clock, in 1656 to help us measure with even more accuracy.
We put off so many things for tomorrow, which for us is when the sun rises from the east and the cock starts to crow. Tomorrow means the dawn of new beginnings, a fresh start, the “perfect” time to go after your dreams. However, if you view time as a human design, which it is, you will realize that there is no tomorrow. You only have now!
Take the idea of time out of your rational mind for just one minute, try to imagine your day without it as your guide. Do you think you would be able to function effectively without it? I do not think so. Time was created because as humans we exude the need to be controlled. Therefore, time has told us when to wake up, when to go to bed, when to eat, when to pray, when to exercise, when to watch TV, when to socialize, etc.
Time is nothing but a guide, but we have made it into the master of our lives. It determines when we act, when we go after our dreams, when we make things happen. I cannot count how many times I have heard people (myself included) say, “I will do it tomorrow,” “I will do it next month,” “I will do it next year,” “It is not the right time.” As if starting anytime other than the present will make the fact that going after your dreams is scary, hard, and unknowing any easier.
It is never easy to take that leap into entrepreneurship, a new career, writing a book, starting a family, or traveling the world. However, it is very easy to use time as an excuse to delay creating our best lives. Lives filled with passion, happiness, and fulfillment. There is no time, there is never the “right” time, and most of all, there is no tomorrow! Start working hard for what you want this moment, because you only have now.

This has come at an eerily synchronistic moment. I’ve been researching and looking deeply into the nature of our world, into what the true nature of our entire cosmology is, what is being hidden from us, what we are being indoctrinated into thinking, believing and accepting as dogmatic truths and never once questioning the incongruencies around us, even though the real truth is often in plain sight. Time is/was constructed in order to trap us in our own inescapable cycles, never being able to truly break free and LOOK AROUND at where we are; discover our true place in this living, breathing consciousness in which we find ourselves. Time is the ultimate prison-it pushes us from day to day to week to month to year after exact same year, in measurements (of time) which do not even logically make sense…days which technically begin before the sun actually rises, erroneously named days of the week, months which do not havevequally assigned days, due to two or three popes attempting to create the unnatural ‘Gregorian calendar ‘. We go through this drudgery believing we are free when really we are all trapped in our own minds, our own time perceptions and it is the ultimate deception. If only everyone could open their eyes and see the truths which are all out there to be discovered.
I have gone on slightly, admittedly but I feel that this is the honest way I could respond to your great post. The best we can do is live freely and love freely in our own family units and hope that there are only good things to look towards in the ‘future’.
